Diane Rice is a freelance writer, editor, proofreader, and photographer living in Nampa,

Stephanie J. Ruff is the publisher and editor of Arabian Finish Line, managing editor of
Arabian Horse Life, and the author of illustrated childrens' books Goats With Coats and
Antics in the Attic. She lives in Florida and enjoys competing in dressage with her Arabian/
Dutch Warmblood mare.
Heather Smith Thomas ranches with her husband near Salmon, Idaho, raising cattle and a
few horses. She has raised and trained horses for 50 years and has been writing freelance
articles and books nearly that long.
