Sarah Evers Conrad is an equestrian journalist in Lexington, Kentucky. She has worked for The Horse, Equestrian, and US Equestrian and now owns All In Stride Marketing. Erica Larson is the news editor at The Horse and and enjoys eventing with her off-track Thoroughbred, Dorado. Christa Lesté-Lasserre, MA, is a freelance writer specializing in equine topics. She rides English, breeds Warmbloods, and raises three young equestrians in Paris, France. Nancy Loving, DVM, owns Loving Equine Clinic, in Boulder, Colorado, and has a special interest in sport horse care. She has authored several books and many veterinary articles for both horse owner and professional audiences. Natalie DeFee Mendik, MA, is an award-winning freelance journalist with more than three decades of horse experience. She resides in Colorado with her husband and two daughters. Samantha Miles, BVM&S, MRCVS, practices at Palm Beach Equine Clinic, in Wellington, Florida. The Toronto native graduated from the University of Edinburgh School of Veterinary Studies, in Scotland, and is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Diane Rice is a freelance writer, editor, proofreader, and photographer living in Nampa, Idaho. She enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with her daughters, grandchil- dren, and pets.
