In 2014, Thoroughbred Charities of America's grants helped rehab,
retrain and rehome almost 1,000 off-track Thoroughbreds and in 2015
have assisted nearly 1,400 awaiting adoption or in permanent sanctuary.
We are proud to help our industry's equine athletes once their racing
days are over.
Since 1990, TCA has awarded more than $21 million to nonprofts
whose missions support post-racing lives for Thoroughbreds, backstretch
and farm employee programs, equine research and therapeutic riding
programs. We extensively vet the organizations we work with, so you
can rest assured that your donation—95% of which is passed on to the
programs—will have maximum impact.
